The Little School Bus

What a fun week on The Farm! Although it was a short week, we fit in a lot of learning and a lot of fun!

At our school, we use Reading Street, so this week we started with Unit 1, Week 1. The story this week was The Little School Bus by Carol Roth. We learned how to sequence the animals in the story, talked about the words that rhymed, and learned what a character was.

There are endless resources that go along with a school bus theme. During Fun Friday today, we made two crafts that also reinforced our math theme this week: SHAPES! We had so much fun today and I hope they enjoyed making these buses.

(School Bus Snack: 1 graham cracker, frosting dyed with food coloring, 4 shredded wheat bites, and 2 oreo minis. Enjoy!)
